Skills & Success

(PASS)

Hylton's PASS program provides support for our freshmen who may be struggling as they transition from Middle to High School-level academics. Any freshman who fails to complete an assignment in Social Studies, Science, Math, or Language Arts will be assigned to an after school PASS session during the following week where teachers will provide them with assistance. Upon completion of the assignment in PASS, students will receive partial credit on the assignment that they would have otherwise failed.

Attendance is mandatory for students assigned to PASS. Students who fail to come to their assigned PASS sessions will receive an after school detention. PASS sessions are from 2:15 until 4:00 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (please see the schedule below).

If you have questions about Hylton's PASS program, please contact Mr. Tony Switzer.
