If your son or daughter is absent from school, please contact the school at one of the phone number above. Phone calls are only accepted for absences on the actual day the student is out of school.  When the student returns to school, if you have not notified the school by phone, your student should bring in a note from you to excuse the absence. The notes are to be placed in the appropriate box outside the attendance office on "B" street.

If your student needs to leave school early, please send a note in with your student that includes your signature and a phone number where you can be reached. These early dismissal notes may also be sent by fax to 703-580-4246. We call and verify early dismissal notes. For the safety of our students, we will NOT release a student on a phone call alone. If we have not received a note requesting the release of your student, you will have to come in to the building to arrange for the early dismissal and pick your student up.

Emails will no longer be accepted to excuse student absences, tardies, or to dismiss a student early.
