If your son or daughter is absent from school, please contact the school at one of the phone numbers listed above. Phone calls are only accepted for absences on the actual day the student is out of school.  When the student returns to school, if you have not notified the school by phone, your student should bring in a note from you to excuse the absence. The notes are to be placed in the appropriate box outside the attendance office on "B" street.

On all attendance notes, please include:

-the student's first and last names
-the parent/guardian's first and last names
-the reason the student was out of school, why he/she

 was tardy or why he/she is leaving school early
-a phone number where we can reach the

 parent/guardian     

If your student needs to leave school for an early dismissal, please send a note in with your student that includes your signature and a phone number where you can be reached.  Your student should drop off their early dismissal by 7:30, on their way to 1^st period.  We will call and verify all early dismissal notes. For the safety of our students, we will NOT release a student for early dismissal by a phone call.  If we have not received a note requesting the release of your student, you will need to come in to the attendance office to arrange for the early dismissal of your student.

Emails will not be accepted to excuse student absences, tardies, or to dismiss a student early.
