All Prince William County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 9, on Code Red. The School Age Care Program will not open.

Superintendent Presents Proposed FY2011 Budget
Reduced funding, increased student enrollment equal $79 million gap for FY2011. Dr. Steven L. Walts, Superintendent of Schools, presented his proposed budget for next year at the Feb. 3 School Board meeting. Read more.

Governor's School Candidates (updated)
The Virginia Governor's School summer residential program is a challenging and enriching 4-week experience for gifted 10th and 11th grade students. The selection process is very competitive! Major Allen Awarded Teacher of the Year
Hylton is proud to announce that the VFW Post in Occoquan (Post 7916) selected Hylton teacher Major Sheila Allen as their Teacher of the Year for 2009-2010! Major Allen's selection will be forwarded for consideration to the District and State competitions. Congratulations Major Allen!
2010-2011 Online Course Requests
Parents and students can make course requests for the 2010-2011 school year ONLINE through Edulink! Your Edulink username and password is the same as your SchoolFusion username and password. Parents that have not yet created their accounts can come by the front office to pick up their passcodes. Online course requests will be open for parents and students February 4 through February 25
